Welcome, Brother & Neighbor

A fraternity of builders in the heart of Honesdale.

For more than 180 years, Honesdale Lodge No. 218 has brought together men of every background to build something that lasts — in themselves, in one another, and in our community.

We are part of the oldest and most widely known fraternal organization in the world. Above the storefronts at Ninth and Main, our historic hall has been a home for brotherly love, relief, and truth since our brethren gathered here generations ago.

The Working Tools Scholarship

For generations, Freemasons have taken the tools of the builder's craft as symbols of character. This scholarship turns that tradition outward — honoring Honesdale High School students learning to build well and build to last.
